CHARACTER NAME: Casia Rabt Age: 34 Gender: Male Affiliation: Faculty Race: (Pick One: Human Aura Color: Lavender Semblance: Property absorption: Casia’s semblance allows him to take on properties of solid objects he remains in contact with for some time. In using this semblance Casia is able to turn his body into the same material he has contact with gaining its density properties as well as its weaknesses, example if he were to become cloth he would become much lighter yet also much more flammable. During his time taking on these traits he can also morph his body parts depending on what material was used and how malleable it is he is able to shift his body during the his transitioned form. Weapon: ( Piercing retribution A pair of three pronged sais with the middle prong being able to detach and spear into nearly anything while being retractable by a small 30ft coil of woven micro carbon stored into the hilt of the blade. Additional weapons and armor: His scarf is made of the same material as the cable coiled into the sais hilt allowing some form of defense to most blunt attacks so long as he draws it taught fast enough to defend from the blow. This gives him a nonlethal way to fight back against non-Grimm opponents which suites his style of retaliation combat for the best. Appearance: With first glance Casia just seems like a tired old man with really bad bags under his eyes and a ragged stubble on his face. Tall and lanky Casia stands at 6ft 3in with a very slim build. His posture makes him look much smaller then he really is as he’s always drooping over himself and when sitting he has nearly no intimidation presence once so ever besides well practiced facial expressions he puts on for the students he wants to get a point across. Casia’s hair is a purple simple cut that frames his face minus one persistent strand of hair which continuously droops over his forehead, beyond that his hair only reaches the nape of his neck. Casia has a dark skin tone from his younger days in Vaccuo.(But mainly because he’s black.) As for attire Casia tends to shoot for neutral colors sticking to white and black for his main colors in clothing. More specifically his casual clothing is that of a black track suit with light weight boots and the white scarf he always keeps on him even If he bakes himself doing so. He also has a set of goggles sitting around his neck for when he enters conflicts. Personality: Cranky and tired would be the quickest description most would pull from his personality after first meeting him, but underneath all the snarky remarks and weirdly creepy facial expressions Casia is simply someone who wants the hunters of next years to come prevail in their efforts. This makes him seem like a hardass during times but he genuinely just believes that people work their hardest under the worst circumstances so with that in his head he’ll happily give his students a hard time to ensure they are ready for the job. Outside of school however Casia is just a guy with a weird sense of humor and an even weirder friend group if you take what he says at face value that is. Truthfully Casia is a kind man who has seen rough times in his past years hardened by the world he isn’t so much as skewed in his view just experienced and has a hard time accepting anyone new into his life without them proving their worth. History: Casia was born and raised in Vaccuo the oasis in the eyes of many seeing as outside of the walls meant certain death to most, but Casia was one of the few who viewed the outside as a place to learn and this so happened to be a trait he’d picked up from his father. While scavenging the outer city for whatever they could sell or use they were attacked by Grimm and forced to run back into the safety of the city. With the goods seemingly lost Casia’s father eagerly proposed that Casia go back and retrieve the remaining goods for their shop. Without much hesitation Casia ended up heading back out into the outer city and ended up being saved from the jaws a Grimm by a hunter on patrol. When dragged back to his father the hunter decided he had words to share with Casia’s dad. After a brief talk and some eavesdropping he soon learned that his father risked his son’s life out of fear for losing his own and that brought upon some very dark feelings. With nothing much to his name Casia decided he’d rather learn to fend for himself and not be used like that again taking up the hunters trail he’d enroll into the hunters academy. Years later he’d finished his schooling on becoming a hunter and defender of the people Casia felt he’d enjoy seeing the other lands of Remnant and possibly take his education to a distant place to possibly gain more knowledge of the world he’d be protecting. Within a few years Casia made his way to all four of the major cities and decided that He’d spend a few more years in Vale teaching at Beacon as he was offered a position on his previous visit. With years of teaching gone by Casia was promoted to the head masters second in command right before the tragedy of the head master passing. Current times have been rough but luckily he didn’t have to be acting headmaster for long as the new one was appointed still it seems a bit like a baby sitting job to him but it’s better than staying in charge he wasn’t meant lead.
