CHARACTER NAME: Alibaster Key Age: 17 Gender: Male Affiliation: Student Race: Human Aura Color:White (Most of the time) Semblance: Squire: Alibaster has a rather unique semblance compared to most. In part to the fact that he requires another person to use it. It works by accepting another aura into his own. When this happens it creates a sort of link between the individual and himself. When linked the two share senses, being able to hear and see everything from each other. As well as hear each others thoughts. This also slightly strengthens both individuals as well due to the shared aura between them. However Alibaster can absorb another's aura it only extends to a certain point. This is largely due to the fact that the more of someone's aura he absorbs the more senses he shares, to the point where he no longer is in control of his own body, and is acting entirely under his partners control. This mixing of aura often causes his own white aura to tint softly toward the color of his partner, darkening the more aura he absorbs. Weapon: Crest & Banner : Alibaster's Weapons are what most would call, outdated. He tends to fight in a very traditional manner with a sword and shield. He wilds a rather plain short sword that has been reinforced for its use against grimm. However his shield is slightly more advanced. As it has a pneumatic spring inside that allows him to send his enemies flying. Additional weapons and armor: Besides his sword and shield Alibaster carries very little else. However he does wear several small pieces of chain mail. Appearance: Alibaster stands at a solid five foot eight. He isn't the tallest or most muscular of teens however he makes it up with his feminine features. He has a smooth angled jaw and a soft pale complection. His hair is a raven black that is often slightly unkempt, giving him a slightly wild look. When hunting his garb resembles that of a sort of knight. He wears a plain blue tunic with white pants and boots. As well as a cloak that he keeps wrapped around himself. Although whenever he isnt hunting he tends to wear generally whatever is comfterable. Spending his time off trying to escape his proper behavior. Personality: Alibaster has always been somewhat of a shy boy. Mostly due to the fact that he spent most of his childhood secluded away. Although this has taught the young boy how to act like a proper young gentleman. However his rather chivalrous nature does seem rather odd to most, even out of place in modern times. But that just came as a product of his upbringing as well. Which has led to the boy becoming rather lazy in his off times. Preferring to take as little care of himself as possible as if in spite of his parents. When it comes to fighting though Alibaster is almost unmatched with his sword, his rigorous and strict training showing through with his skill. But this all comes with a trope. Alibaster absolutely hates his semblance. As it is rather easy to loose himself within someone else's aura. Not to mention the rather personal and almost intimate nature of the connection. History: The key family has long been a standing beacon of hunters in the world. Their rather old fashioned techniques still as reliable as ever. And their resolve to their code unbreaking. And it was to this prestigious family that young Alibaster was born. Needless to say his childhood was spent being pampered and taken care of. Slowly being taught how to be a proper young gentleman. He spent most of the time with his maids, which led him to have a rather closed off life. Never really having anyone he would truly call a friend, his parents often off hunting somewhere. Around the time he had turned thirteen his aura had began to manifest itself. Which had finally seemed to draw the attention of his family. Suddenly young Alibaster couldn't escape the attention he was receiving from his parents. Not to mention all of his extended family whom came to visit him. It was a chaotic situation for the young boy as his life was suddenly tilted on its side. After all the Key family were hunters, and the youngest child suddenly showed such promise. So he was taken away from his proper life, instead spending his time away with his uncle. During this time he learned how to handle himself with a sword, how to survive in the wild, and what it truly meant to be a member of the Key family. He would act as a guard for those whom needed him, to protect those that are unable to protect themselves. And with such a fitting semblance young Alibaster started to realize why his parents had been so proud of him. After his time was done with his uncle the young man returned home, eagar to impress his parents with what he had learned. Although when he returned he was greeted rather differently than he had expected. His maids and parents had taken rather unkindly to his new scruffy appearance. Refusing to speak to him until he cleaned up. So he slumped back to his old quarters, returning to his proper life as a respectable young man. He still continued to train himself in private, often sneaking off to practice when his maids weren't looking. Although his secret sessions didn't go unnoticed, as it eventually attracted the attention of his parents. And after a small amount of consideration they decided to send him off to beacon.
