Semblance: "I wanted to paint my world. Though the blood has stained it's canvas. I want to paint my world a different Hue, Yet I can not yet paint. I will paint my world, for a new canvas I can create."
Her semblance are Glyphs that appear and work like canvases. Able to be placed at any angle. She is able to 'paint' on them. Using her tool, it depends on which dust she activates to cause which affect. Such as, if she paints with red dust, she could cause a wall of fire, or if she paints a lion with red dust, it can jump from the canvas as a flaming Lion. Though the 'beast' would not run around rapid its more of a one shot deal. Leap and attack the opponent and if it misses, then it fizzles out. Though one has to be careful for other things may catch fire.
Weapon: "Painter's Quill" Paintbrush/blow-dart The handle is made of her missing horn. With long course and fine bristles of hair for the paintbrush tip. It is also equipped with the most dense bristles on the inner of the brush to keep the darts located on the inside of the horn from getting stuck. The Horn is hollow with the open in at the 'tip' of the horn opened so that she may blow into it, which activates the 'blow dart' portion of her tool. There are four chambers located not he handle of the brush that hold four unique dusts. She stars with Red, purple, blue, and green. The canisters are designed for easy removal and replacement. This way if something runs out she can pop it out and replace it. They are filled with a concoction she herself made. Its an ink of sorts that has been created using Dust. This creation allows dust to be used for a longer portion of time, but it also is weaker than the normal 'dry' dust.
Additional weapons and armor: Arm and leg bracers.
Appearance: Taupe is a fauna, quite literally a 'fawn'. White tailed deer design. Normally in her race, the females do not grow horns, but strangely, she did. She also has slightly bigger eyes and large doe ears. In addition she has a three white 'spots' on either cheek, along the cheekbone, just under her eyes. She also has a tail like the white tailed deer. Her feet are slightly on the small side, but at least they aren't hooves. her legs are rather strong though, helping her to move fast and jump well. Her eyes are violet with a spiderweb of cyan around the iris. Her hair is considered like snow and chunks have been cut out on one side so she can see easier. Her hair grows fast and over the past few years, there wasn't really much need to cut it. She likes to braid it upon occasion or simply lets it run wild. She doesn't have much of a 'style' as she normally just wore hand-me-downs, or something her mother sown together.
Personality: Taupe is generally quite. Accustomed to keeping her head down and her voice silent. This allows her to be more adapt to noticing things people miss. If push comes to shove, she would jump in to help, though normally is very shy and self confidence is not quite lacking, though isn't very loud. Having been the constant victim of bullying as a child from a school full of human children, and a few of her own family's caravan, she tends to not always trust or show the most, desire to meet someone new. Humans frighten her, to her they feel like a pack wolves, talking and planning when she is not listening. Humans don't want Fauna around... She has to be strong!.. she has to find a way to make it all alright... she has to make it so her family no longer travels the wilds.. She has to prove fauna are more than what humans see. Generally once a night she writes a letter for her family, saying how wonderful things are so her mother doesn't worry, and try to pull her out. Painting has been a release for her worries, as is singing. Though the singing portion one might never know. She again, doesn't like to be center of attention. Less seen, less in danger. Back at the caravan, there were only so many things you could do. Chores were easy and quick to get done and thus she would sneak off and find quiet places to 'play'. Her 'play' was her pretending to fight as she couldn't make much noise or worry that other creatures in the wild, including Grim, may be attracted by such. This made her fighting style more fluid, much like its own dance. Though it can be associated with more acrobatic and other times more fluid.
History: Taupe was born and raised in a traveling group called 'the caravan'. Its a group of Fauna, several different types, that travel the wilds and rarely come to cities. Normally the group will only have a pair go to the city for supplies for the whole group. Her family is of her mother, father, and younger brother. Taupe was slow at showing her semblance. It wasn't until one of the few times Grim attacked the caravan. She was told to hide, yet a grim followed her fear and found her cornered and alone. Her semblance showed but only distracted the grim for a split second, long enough for Taupe to only loose one of her horns instead of her life. Her family was always at odds of sending her to a school. Her younger brother had showed great skill and strength as well as his own abilities at an early age. The family did not have much money but did manage to scrounge enough to send him to school. After some time the brother managed to convince the family to send Taupe to a small school. Though the school children and many of its teachers were quite.. unpleasant, towards Taupe, she did manage to meet one older man who was kind and understanding. The art teacher that all called 'Gramps', was called 'Grandfather' by Taupe. Though he was a human, the family began to work with him. Long story short, with his assistance, praise, kind words, and inspiration, Taupe was able to make her tool and discovered how to create her own ink/paint. In the end, Grandfather, convinced her parents to send her to a proper school and is now funding her education.
